We have a great show today. We are meeting with Dave Lavalle - Founder of the Dryer Vent Wizard franchise. David Lavalle, founded the Dryer Vent Wizard franchise system in 2004 in the Boston area. Lavalle frequently encountered homeowners having issues with their dryer vent systems that required an "urgent response." These issues were a result of dryer vent lint accumulation, blockages, disrepair, or improper venting configurations. The concept originated when Lavalle realized the need for a specialist for dryer vents.  Within a few years, the concept expanded into a successful franchise that specializes in dryer fire prevention and energy savings through dryer vent cleaning, inspection, repair, replacement, alterations, and maintenance for single and multi-family residential and commercial entities.

We are meeting with Carl Comeaux, CEO of Crust Pizza Company. Comeaux's entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 16 as a personal trainer, initially driven by the desire to transform people's lives through fitness. His focus then evolved to entrepreneurship, where he is motivated by creating opportunities and jobs. Witnessing employees' growth, such as moving from an $8/hour wage to earning a $40,000-$50,000 salary, fuels Comeaux's dedication to expanding his business. Now, through the Crust Pizza Co. franchise, he aims to transform the lives and financial well-being of both franchisees and their teams.

Delta Restoration Services has tripled its presence in the past 12 months and is set to add several dozen more locations this year. The property restoration franchisor is investing heavily in its training and support functions, including building a state-of-the-art flood house training facility in Denver. Mike Mastous conceptualized Delta after spending his career in the restoration industry, operating restoration companies, adjusting for insurance carriers, and helping other brands expand into restoration. The full-service model was not an option for the customer or for insurance companies to use at the time. Michael saw this opening and has been on a quest to fill it since 2006.
